Statues

On a small side street off of I-10 just west of downtown are giant heads of former presidents. I don't know why they are there, but it is slightly sureal. (Johnson and Regan)

Media

It's amazing how I can go onto the internet and find anything. I heard White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane on a comercial and a minute later I have it pulled up. Honestly media on demad truly changes how entertainment works. Now with Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones playing I really can do what I want with this vast canvas.

The catch

A Rainbow Trout, about 8 inches

Fishing

A small pond in Herman park on the east side of Houston. The Texas Depaertment of Wildlife released 1000 Rainbow Trout here.

Downtown Houston

While walking in Downtown Houston I noticed something in the corner of my eye. It was small and brown, and furry which made me stop and look. I thought it was a dried up rat, but it was too small and had black in it so that option was out. It was as second guess which was a bat, that's right a dead bat on Main street of downtown Houston, fourth largest city in the United States. There is a bridge about 3 miles west of downtown which holds a lot of bats so I guess that's where it came from. These are useful creatures which eat their weight in mosquitos every night.

Caps

Pictured below are 271 bottle caps I collected over the course of a few months.

Football cake

Looking at this football field cake, you can see the amount of work that goes into this piece. But on closer examination it becomes clear that the person doing the decorating was not a football fan, or at least doesn't understand the numbering scheme on the field. The regulation field goes from 10 to 40, with 50 in the middle then back down again. This field however increments by 10 all the way up to 90, up and down on both sides. I wonder why this cake hasn't sold yet.

Meetings

So far I have only ever had meetings that go no where and do nothing. Sitting in this meeting waiting for it to start, I don't think this will be any different.

Comercials

In the local Kroger, they now have lcd monitors constantly displaying comercials. Like every single item in the store isn't an advertisment already. And the best part? The advertisments reminded you every know and again that you are shopping at Kroger, like I didn't see the 7 foot tall blue letters as I walked in.
