Dead Bird
Another dead bird. Of course now I'm wondering how it died(BIRD FLU!). I hope that bird didn't die with one of the germs in that .01 percent the purell didn't cover.
What?
I'm sure the nature of the "extra piece" of glass on this statue is. But upon passing it by on the store, the placement, and obvious phalic nature of it made me laugh. I guess its for the viewer to decide.

Invention
I am good at inventing things that already exist. I was at home thinking of the best way to arrange my music/lectures/podcasts on a DVD so I can listen to it at work. I had devised a two disc system (one for podcast, another for music) and at that point I thought, "I wish I could consolidate all of this on a device". So basically I invented an iPod, 8 years too late.

Gas
We know that gas will surpass $4 a gallon, and with the pieces over $3.20 in Houston will they drop back to 3 once over 4?

Oil
Today its at $115 a barrel, about 14 years ago it was $14 and Houston slumped. I doubt oil will ever go down again, I morosely (is that a word?) wonder what our next down fall will be.

Jimmy Carter
I disagree with him nmeeting with Hamas, but I of course disagree with both sides fighting over a thin strip of land is silly. I do think that this illustrates a point that public service is a dying field. Trust in public officials is usually low at best, and there scope of work is usually limited anyway (either by law or choice). Jimmy Carter's charity and arbiter work has helped much more then his time as president, it was more of a stepping stone for him really.

Excellent headline
Diaper wearing monkey caught
Doesn't matter what the story is about, its just a great headline.
USB Dock
This docking station for SATA drives works great. It looks good, and to get a drive up and running simply place it into the cradle and power on.
